Can I take the hair loss treatment during pregnancy?

No unfortunately not! Treatment is not to be taken when trying to conceive, during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

When you fill out our online form to start treatment for female hair loss, you will be asked if you are trying to conceive, pregnant or breastfeeding. If the answer is yes, you will not qualify for The Hairy Pill® treatment.

If you’re currently on our treatment program, and you’re trying to conceive, pregnant or breastfeeding, please cease treatment immediately.

Why am I losing my hair during pregnancy?

Hair loss may occur during pregnancy if you have a hormonal imbalance, have gone off the contraceptive pill, or experienced an abortion, miscarriage, or stillbirth. 

This type of hair loss is usually temporary.

Can I take the hair loss treatment after my pregnancy?

If you’re looking for a hair loss treatment to deal with hair loss from your pregnancy, it is worth noting that hair loss after pregnancy is often temporary. In fact, it only usually occurs because you have gained MORE hair during pregnancy. 

Please not you will not qualify for hair loss treatment if you are breastfeeding.
