What types of hair loss can The Hairy Pill support?
Androgenetic Alopecia: Also known as male or female pattern baldness. A genetic condition that causes gradual thinning, bald spots or receding hair.
Telogen Effluvium: Hair shedding triggered by stress, illness or hormonal changes. Often occurs alongside androgenetic alopecia.
Hormone related: Hormone-related hair shedding associated with childbirth, breastfeeding, menopause, thyroid conditions and PCOS.
Weight loss related: Rapid or significant weight loss may contribute to increased hair shedding due to nutritional and physiological stress on the body.
Thinning: General or diffuse hair reduction across the scalp or specific areas.
Anagen Effluvium: Rapid hair loss caused by certain medications and treatments like chemotherapy or radiation that interrupt active hair growth.
Damaged hair: Hair breakage and weakened hair caused by heat, chemical or mechanical stress.
Traction Alopecia: Hair loss from constant pulling on the hair follicles. Often caused by tight hairstyles like braids, ponytails or extensions.
How long will it take to work?
Unfortunately, there is no miracle overnight solution for thicker hair for men or women. Like most hair loss remedies and balding treatments, treatment progress takes time and consistency. For many patients, it may take between 3 and 6 months to notice visible changes.
Hair grows slowly and in cycles, so any hair loss treatment needs time to support noticeable changes over time. Each treatment is then compounded by partner pharmacies, meaning it is freshly prepared to match the treatment plan prescribed by your doctor rather than selected from a standard off-the-shelf formula.
Treatment plans can also be refined during future consultations as treatment progresses and patient needs change over time.
Who is the expert doctor behind our hair fall therapy?

What if I have allergies, intolerances, or certain preferences?
Treatment history, allergies, intolerances and personal preferences are taken into account during the prescribing and compounding process by both partner doctors and pharmacists.
The Hairy Pill treatment contains no gluten. Vegetarian or vegan capsule options are also available, including for patients with dietary, lifestyle or religious preferences where clinically appropriate.
Because treatment is compounded specifically to the prescribed treatment plan, ingredient and capsule selections can often be adjusted to suit individual patient requirements.
How does the subscription and payment work?
The Hairy Pill treatment service includes prescribed hair loss treatment, pharmacist compounding, clinical support and home delivery as part of a monthly subscription model.
The subscription includes:

- Treatment plan reviews and adjustments over time
- Streamlined repeat treatment delivery and express shipping
- Access to patient support throughout treatment
Treatment begins with an upfront 3-month payment ($225), allowing time for treatment assessment, monitoring and review.
From month 4 onwards, treatment continues on a monthly subscription basis at $75 per month, including ongoing treatment management and support.
In many cases, hair loss treatment requires consistency and long-term management, as hair loss may resume after treatment is discontinued.
Pricing reflects the inclusion of doctor oversight, pharmacist compounding, treatment support and home delivery throughout care.
What's the cancellation policy?
You can cancel your subscription at any time, with cancellation applying to future billing periods. Cancellation does not affect charges already incurred, including treatment that has already been prepared or supplied.
